Air Specialist

**Role: Air Specialist, Amadeus Expert**:

- Support a team of 8 by providing air quotes, booking, and ticketing assistance for in-house reservation agents and our clients
- Be the expert at recommending routes, airports and expected travel time
- Process airline schedule changes, booking and ticketing for instance of date changes, interrupted services in instances of trip delay, weather, etc.
- Ensure each booking has the correct info: birthdates, passport info (if needed), cc info, ages, etc.
- Partner with our Concierge team to ensure total trip is changed in the event flight adjust the plan
- Monitor air travel reservations for accuracy and cost guidelines. Process and adjust changes, cancellations and ticketing.
- Process quality control checks prior to trip by 10 days to ensure flights are booked according to hotel check in dates
- Track customer credits
- Assist with air deviation requests including requests for specific airlines, flights and dates
- Ability to keep open communication with other team members.

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years of Amadeus experience
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Proficient Written and Verbal English a must
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively assist passengers and relay appropriate information to management and related departments
