Compliance Sr. Analyst – Johnson & Johnson Location: Bogotá, Distrito Capital, Colombia Job Function: Finance Job Sub Function: Risk Management Job Category: Professional Position Overview: The Compliance Senior Analyst will support the regional execution of activities and risk management to minimize financial and operational risks associated with the internal control environment. The role focuses on designing and implementing internal controls, providing recommendations for continuous process and control improvements for the regional A2R processes globally. Key Responsibilities: Support risk management by advising business process owners on control requirement expectations and related execution across various workstreams (e.g., Account to Report) to maintain a strong internal control environment across all Management Reporting Companies (MRCs) and Global Services, including support for new system implementations and enhancements. Develop and provide ongoing robust compliance training and updates to all levels of Finance and Operations personnel, sharing best practices and recommending more efficient ways to meet SOX compliance requirements. Oversee corrective action plans and drive to closure with finance management, interfacing with various levels of management to standardize key controls, processes, and documentation, keeping management informed of compliance‑related risks and opportunities. Participate in and support delivery on global compliance projects and initiatives (e.g., Global Desktop Procedures, local Standard Operating Procedures, Control Optimization) and partner with the extended Global Compliance Team to drive consistency and standardization of controls and processes as it relates to J&J’s end‑state model. Execute due diligence reviews to ensure successful transition of key control activities to Global Services centers per the three‑tier end‑state model; support management of audit support through strong partnerships with business unit finance, internal audit team, and external auditors, coordinating internal and/or external audits and advising remediation efforts for exceptions identified. Perform other ad‑hoc responsibilities as required. Reporting: This role will report to the Regional Manager in Bogotá. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. 3–4 years of progressive experience in auditing in one or more of the following fields: financial/operational, external, information systems, and compliance. Experience with US GAAP, IFRS, and Sarbanes‑Oxley Section 404. Strong strategic thinking and ability to connect concepts. Good planning and adaptability skills in changing environments. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Ability to work independently without constant supervision. Strong prioritization skills. Fluent in English. 10% international travel.
