Engineer II - Implementation Quality Assurance Accelya – looking for an Engineer II specializing in Implementation Quality Assurance. Duties & Responsibilities Design, develop and execute Test Cases, Test Scenarios & Test Plans. Review software specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback for test planning and procedures. Analyze functional and non-functional requirements and designs to create Test Scenarios and Test cases in coordination with Business Analyst team. Write and execute GUI, Functional, Regression, Security, and Performance related test cases. Analyze testing results to report defects/discrepancies found. Conduct in-depth research to define the root cause of problems and work closely with developers/product support to reproduce, isolate, and resolve product anomalies or design issues. Coordinate testing activities with Development Team. Organize status meetings and send status reports (Daily, Weekly, etc.). Monitor and report project status; identify issues that may impede goal attainment and recommend corrective measures. Recommend enhancements to existing test suites and test cases for future regression; evaluate manual test cases and functional specifications for potential automation. Knowledge, Experience & Skills Experience validating Web Applications & Web Services. Experience with scripting and automation tools such as SoapUI, Postman, Selenium, and JMeter. Hands‑on experience in API testing (must) using SOAP UI / Postman or other automation tools. Experience in CI/CD pipeline automation. Experience in JIRA, Jenkins and Gitlab. Knowledge of test design tools. Good knowledge of SDLC and STLC; experience working in Scrum teams. Problem‑solving and analytical skills. Self‑motivated; can work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision. Attention to detail and curiosity to get in depth. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Information Technology. Experience in testing airline reservation systems, Global Distribution Systems (GDS), or other travel industry is a plus. What we offer Open culture and challenging opportunities.
