Operations Specialist

Keep the client and the sales team informed about the status of the shipment, thus ensuring compliance with delivery and operational schedules, achieving customer satisfaction with the service provided. Respond to internal and external client requests with accurate and timely information, thereby meeting the company’s service standards within the established timeframes. Execute operational processes and procedures in compliance with the company’s required standards, as these form the basis for the issuance of management reports. Provide support to the commercial department from the operations department by supplying timely information. Efficiently carry out operational procedures with suppliers and clients, including information review and data collection. Export: Coordinate the collection and/or reception of cargo in the port or airport area, ensuring its integrity and custody, deliver cargo to suppliers, enforce booking commitments, coordinate any inspections required for the export process, issue documents (BLs, letters, manifests, etc.), and confirm delivery on the agreed date and destination when required. Send the pre-alert to the destination office for the export shipment once the documents are available and verify any received pre-alerts. Import: Coordinate the release of documents with the carrier and deliver them to the customs agency. Process cargo insurance for Import and/or Export shipments when required. Monitor shipment timelines, reporting any issues that may affect efficient operational management to superiors. Prepare and/or review the documentation required for import and export procedures, acting as an effective and reliable link between the client and the operation’s suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate information. #J-18808-Ljbffr
