About The Opportunity The Senior Quality Engineer will join a global squad of quality engineers and partner with several cross‑functional development teams to design, plan, and implement robust automated test suites for our enterprise platform. Ideal candidates bring hands‑on experience with Cypress or similar automation frameworks and can craft testing strategies that are reliable, scalable, and comprehensive. Beyond writing tests, this role emphasizes mentorship and teaching—sharing expertise in Cypress and automation best practices with peers, guiding less experienced engineers, and helping to elevate overall testing maturity across the organization. We are looking for an engineer who demonstrates a high degree of ownership, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to bridge technical expertise with team development. What You'll Do Participate in requirements reviews to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate automated testing activities. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well‑structured test plans and test cases. Apply software engineering best practices to design reusable, maintainable automation frameworks. Translate manual test cases into automation scripts with accuracy and efficiency. Lead by example in writing automation code and mentor teammates in Cypress and automation fundamentals. Deliver workshops, code reviews, and training sessions to help engineers adopt and improve Cypress or other automation frameworks. Execute test cases/automation scripts and document defects thoroughly. Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure new requirements are testable and high quality. Analyze current processes to identify improvement opportunities and advocate for best practices. We'd Like to See 6+ years of experience building automated tests using Cypress or similar frameworks. 4+ years of experience with JavaScript or TypeScript automation libraries. Proven experience designing scalable test automation frameworks and teaching others to use them effectively. Strong proficiency in building reusable automated test cases and suites for desktop and mobile SaaS products in an agile environment. Experience testing REST‑style APIs with automation tools. Skilled at optimizing and refactoring test code for clarity and performance. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to train, mentor, and collaborate across teams. Familiarity with work/ticket tracking tools such as Jira. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast‑paced environment. Compensation Overview Base Rate: $45,000 - $60,000 USD Annually 10% Annual Bonus Final compensation details will be determined based on a wide variety of factors, including experience and location. These factors will be evaluated and considered by Worldly throughout the entirety of this process. Compensation figures are listed in USD and are converted to the applicable rate in this region.
