Compliance Analyst (LATAM, Remote) Department: Compliance Employment Type: Full Time Location: Remote Description The Compliance Analyst role is a key role on our Compliance team. The Compliance Analyst is primarily responsible for processing payments and performing due diligence investigations, compliance support and administration - they are the first line of defense for processing payments in a compliant manner and protecting Rivalry against fraudulent transactions from fraudsters, abusers and avoiding a breach of Rivalry’s regulatory obligations. PLEASE NOTE: For all LATAM applicants there is a requirement to cover graveyard/overnight night shifts. Your Responsibilities Payments Processing & Player account verification: Process customer payouts while following all of the relevant Compliance controls Document customer incoming issues for further investigation; solving directly or escalating issues to corresponding teams. Keeping customers informed about the status of any open cases, communicating to them about resolved cases. Assisting with payment processing controls and follow-ups. Anti Money Laundering/Combating Terrorist Funding review; Anti-Fraud reviews; Money In Money Out reviews; Assistance with payment accounts funding visibility (EDD) Customer Verification & Fraud prevention: Resolve tickets escalated by the customer support team Review user information for accounts that have been suspended by SumSub Performing KYC verification including manual intervention and high risk verification Assist the Senior KYC analysts and the Compliance Team as needed Conducting account player verification including source of funds checks, player risk assessment, etc Assist the Payments and Customer Support team as needed Communicate with customers in multiple languages about issues regarding their account verification in a manner that aligns with our Customer support standards. Escalating issues to the Compliance leadership when needed Casino Compliance Overview: Monitor and process daily alerts, distributed via internal communication channels, related to new game releases. Collaborate with game providers and internal teams to review casino games compliance. Accurately input and maintain detailed compliance records of casino content into the central content database. Conduct routine, scheduled compliance health checks (monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc) on the live casino environment to identify and remediate any discrepancies. Your stats: Fluent in English (we provide financial assistance to help with this if English is not your first language) Fluency in a 2nd or 3rd language is an asset. Preferred languages include Brazilian Portuguese, Tagalog, Spanish, and French. Ability to keep your cool with customers in a friendly and open manner, even when things get spicy. A high level of attention to detail and ability to execute on new processes and procedures as they arise. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and any other fluent language you have. Comfort with ambiguity and the willingness to do what’s right even if it’s outside the box. Comfort with modern online communication tools and systems, including slack. Ability to work with a decentralized team, located all around the world.
