Plan A Technologies is looking for a versatile Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team building a secure, scalable financial mobile application (digital wallet). You will be responsible for developing high-quality mobile and web user experiences, collaborating closely with backend, product, and security teams to deliver reliable financial features. This role requires strong attention to performance, security, and usability, given the nature of financial applications. Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of experiencedeveloping applications with React and React Native to be considered for this role. JOB RESPONSIBILITY Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React Native and web applications using React. Build reusable, scalable, and high-performance UI components. Integrate RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs for financial transactions, balances, and user data. Ensure application performance, reliability, and responsiveness across devices. Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions. Identify and resolve performance, security, and usability issues. Stay current with best practices in frontend, mobile, and financial application development. EXPERIENCE BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience developing applications with React and React Native. Experience building and maintaining mobile apps for iOS and Android. Solid understanding of state management (Redux, Zustand, Context API, etc.). Experience integrating APIs and handling asynchronous data flows. Familiarity with secure coding practices and data protection standards. Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles. Experience with version control systems (Git).
