About this Role Watershed is seeking a customer-focused, analytically minded individual to become a founding member of its Mexico City office on the Sustainability Data Advisory team. This position represents an exciting opportunity to join a core team within a growth-stage startup that collaborates with leading global companies to enhance their sustainability programs. As a sustainability data advisor, your primary responsibility will be to work directly with customers, serving as a trusted advisor. The role involves leading measurement sessions and delivering advisory services aimed at unlocking the full potential of the Watershed platform. By doing so, you’ll help customers gain clear insights into their sustainability impacts and achieve targeted sustainability goals. Your contributions will empower customers to measure both carbon and non-carbon footprints effectively, leading to actionable insights and real reductions. You will work closely with diverse teams, including science, engineering, and product, to develop pioneering measurement solutions and further enhance Watershed’s sustainability intelligence capabilities. Responsibilities Advise sustainability teams at the world’s top companies on measuring actionable carbon and non-carbon footprints. Deliver services that accelerate customer success by setting up measurements to meet sustainability goals. Serve as a trusted partner in emissions verifications and provide specialized advisory. Ensure customers unlock maximum value from Watershed’s platform efficiently. Collaborate with science, engineering, and product teams to innovate measurement solutions. Requirements Have 4-8 years of experience in consulting, solutions engineering, or another customer-facing role. Experience in sustainability-related fields, greenhouse gas accounting, and/or ESG reporting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to learn quickly and operate effectively in ambiguity. Systematic, organized, and detail-oriented mindset. Passion for solving climate change and working in a fast-paced startup.
