Job Title : Junior Accountant

Location : Remote (LATAM Region Preferred)

Compensation : $800-$1200 / monthly

Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, handling both administrative and financial tasks. The role involves managing contracts, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the finance team in ensuring compliance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

Daily & Weekly Operations :

  1. Contract Management : Review, process, and maintain accurate records of contracts and agreements. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
  2. Accounts Management : Assist in accounts payable and receivable, ensuring invoices are issued and payments are tracked effectively.
  3. Financial Recordkeeping : Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial records.
  4. Compliance Tracking : Monitor contract deadlines, including renewals and terminations, and ensure adherence to financial and legal obligations.
  5. Stakeholder Coordination : Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve contract discrepancies or financial issues.

Project Coordination :

  1. Support the finance team with special projects, such as financial reporting, tax preparation, and audit assistance.
  2. Collaborate on process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in contract and financial workflows.

Administrative Support :

  1. Maintain systematic documentation for contracts, invoices, and financial records.
  2. Provide administrative assistance for finance-related tasks, such as preparing expense reports and submitting receipts.

Monthly & Ad-Hoc Responsibilities :

  1. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  2. Generate custom financial reports and analyses to support decision-making.
  3. Handle ad-hoc administrative and financial tasks as assigned by the team or leadership.

Qualifications : Required :

  1. Fluency in English language.
  2. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  3. 1-3 years of experience in contract processing, accounting, or a similar role.
  4. Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  5. Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  6. Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment.

Preferred :

  1. Experience with contract management software or ERP systems.
  2. Familiarity with compliance regulations and financial reporting standards.
  3. Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
