Production Art Officer

• Associate Degree or certificate program in Commercial or Graphic Arts or equivalent knowledge and experience in those areas.
• 3+ years of experience in related field.
• Proficiency in use of MAC OS, Illustrator, Photoshop and other applicable software required.
• Experience producing production art for specific area assigned, such as: printed fabric labels and/or heat transfer labels.
• PC proficiency required, including Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes and Internet.
• Knowledge and capability with the processes for receiving and handling customer files and creating production-ready proofs.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of production tolerances (internal and external) and be able to manipulate files to meet these specs.
• Skill in understanding, performing, and applying calculations necessary to complete work and utilize software applications, such as amounts, proportions, percentages, surface area, circumference, quantities, etc.
• Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from co-workers and management, as well as from Sales or customers as needed.
• High degree of visual attention and accuracy skills to read, interpret, apply, and utilize colors, details, font sizes, label sizes.
• Skills in effectively planning and organizing work and managing time.
