We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our Email Security Team - Avanan.

Do you have a passion for customer service and solving complex technological challenges with a proactive approach to a constant improvement? Then join our growing Engineering Support team to enable us to continue delivering our excellent Customer Experience.

As a Technical Support Engineer , you will be a core team-member responsible for:

  1. Track and triage customer support tickets
  2. Interact with customers for analysis and resolution
  3. Troubleshoot problems and identify solutions
  4. Collaborate with our software engineers to help resolve problems
  5. Maintain customer satisfaction while advocating quality in every aspect
  6. Help drive the future of the product by collaborating with our engineering and product teams
  7. Play a crucial role in incident management response
Qualifications
  1. Experience in Python, Bash and Powershell
  2. Experience with querying using SQL
  3. Experience in supporting SaaS-based products
  4. Experience in working with a ticket/case management system (eg: Jira, Zendesk)
  5. Strong technical problem solving and analytical skills with the willingness to own the investigation through to the end
  6. Proficient at managing your own time and priorities and has a "let's get it done" attitude
  7. Passionate about technology and IT security with a strong desire to work in a dynamic, ever-evolving, fast paced technical environment
  8. Adept at working remotely
  9. Must speak fluent English
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
  1. Experience of working with email security/mail flow
  2. Experience of working with Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, ADFS or Office365
  3. Knowledge of SMTP, DNS, LDAP or similar protocols
  4. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field a plus
  5. Team player spirit
  6. Believe in learning new things every day.
