Role Summary The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing all available resources within the Distribution Center—including personnel, warehouse areas, equipment and services. The primary goal is to guarantee the fulfillment of sales to local customers and subsidiaries (exports), while strictly adhering to EHS, Quality, and Corporate standards. Key Responsibilities Operational Excellence & Resource Management Resource Availability: Guarantee the availability of all necessary resources (equipment, pallets, personnel) to operate the DC without disruptions. WMS & Layout: Oversee the definition of the warehouse layout and space allocation; ensure the Warehouse Management System (WMS) is performing optimally. Capacity Planning: Monitor warehouse utilization and develop contingency plans to ensure operational success during peak periods. Inventory Control: Manage inventory through FIFO, oversee Wall-to-Wall inventory planning/execution and minimize inventory variances. Quality & Status Monitoring: Follow up on Finished Goods (FG) in Restricted (RS) or Blocked (BL) status, raising alerts regarding obsolete stock or excess coverage. Leadership & People Management Staffing & Scheduling: Define personnel shift schedules based on forecasts. Plan weekend work schedules and shipping crews. Performance Management: Follow up on personnel productivity, address people management issues, and participate in HR capability-building activities. Administrative Duties: Conduct payroll reviews and ensure the team is properly trained according to Corporate Standards. Compliance, Safety & Quality Standards Adherence: Implement and contribute to EHS, Quality, and FP&R (Factory Performance & Reliability) Corporate Standards. SGSST Compliance: Comply with the Management System of Safety and Health at Work (SGSST) as required by the position. Audit Readiness: Actively participate in EHS, Quality, and FP&R audits to ensure 100% compliance. Reporting & Continuous Improvement KPI Management: Track, present, and continuously improve warehouse KPIs, including: Overtime and Productivity % Damages, Returns, and Refusals Perfect Shipments (On-time and Complete) Warehouse Utilization and Inventory Variances Daily Communication: Lead daily meetings and generate reports on occupation, pallet status, and improvement opportunities regarding processes and equipment.
