Job Summary We are looking for Remote Contract Spanish Interpreters who are passionate and dedicated to using their language skills to help people. Contract Responsibilities Provide consecutive, first‑person interpretation. Follow interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Propio L.S. clients. Adhere to all Propio L.S. policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics. Continuously improve vocabulary and specialized subject‑matter knowledge, as required for various clients (medical, legal, social services, etc.). Requirements Submit an updated resume in English at the time of application. Complete an English Language Proficiency test achieving a “technical proficiency” rating (3 or higher on the ILR scale). Successfully complete a mock oral interpretation session, scoring passing against 24 quality standards. Complete Propio's online Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology assessment, passing with a required score. Pass a full background check and security screen. Sign a commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and HIPAA compliance. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of interpreting experience.
