As a Sr Data Engineer, this role will be responsible with design and implementation of data engineering platforms and solutions that meet product and business requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on data engineering background working on data warehousing and implementing scalable ELT pipelines solutions utilizing modern data technologies. Responsibilities Design, develop, automate and harden all data workflows. Incorporate core data management competencies adhering to Data Architecture guidelines around data governance, modeling, quality and security. Develop data transformation code with emphasis on test harness to deliver high quality data solutions. Perform data and system analysis to resolve complex defects and incidents with RCA. Stay current with emerging data technologies and industry best practices to maintain competitive advantage. Qualifications At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a data engineer working with data warehousing and ELT pipelines. Strong SQL skills including schema design, query optimization and schema evolution. Experience with scripting or programming language, preferably Python. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, GCP BigQuery) and their data service offerings is a plus. Knowledgeable of virtualization technologies, and their use and execution. Experience leveraging modern data technologies like Trino, Kafka, Airflow, dbt, data orchestration tools and data lake technologies. Experience with design and implementation of large-scale data transformation initiatives. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience). #J-18808-Ljbffr
