Billing Specialist

Overview:

As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in managing the increased workload, ensuring accuracy in payment processing, and resolving claims issues. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining efficient billing operations, including handling LCHSA claims.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accurately enter payments received into the billing system.
2. Review and follow up on denied claims, ensuring timely resolution.
3. Resubmit claims as necessary to secure payment.
4. Manage the billing process for LCHSA claims and ensure compliance with regulations.
5. Collaborate with internal teams to address billing discrepancies and improve processes.
6. Maintain clear and professional communication with insurance providers and clients.

Qualifications:

1. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Proactive mindset with the drive and ability to learn new systems and processes.
4. Previous experience in medical billing or claims processing is a plus, but not required.
5. Familiarity with LCHSA billing practices is an advantage.
