## Production Support EngineerColombia · Full-time · Intermediate#### About The PositionWe are seeking a highly skilled **Production Support Engineer** to join our team and provide technical support for Matrix's advanced risk management platform. This role involves ensuring system stability, resolving production issues, and delivering exceptional service to our clients in a mission-critical environment.**Key Responsibilities*** Provide Level 2/3 support for production environments, ensuring high availability and performance.* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to application, infrastructure, and integrations.* Monitor system health, logs, and alerts to proactively identify and address potential problems.* Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and Customer Success teams to implement fixes and enhancements.* Manage incident response and root cause analysis for production outages.* Document solutions, create knowledge base articles, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.* Participate in on-call rotation for 24x7 support coverage.**Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.* 2+ years of experience in production support or application support roles.* Strong knowledge of Java-based applications and troubleshooting.* Proficiency in SQL and database management (PostgreSQL, Cassandra preferred).* Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.* Understanding of REST APIs, protocols, and networking fundamentals.* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.* Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).**Preferred Skills*** Experience with containerization (Docker) and messaging systems (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ).* Knowledge of monitoring tools and log analysis (e.g., ELK stack, Splunk).* Exposure to machine learning concepts and fraud prevention technologies.* Work with cutting-edge technology in the financial risk management space.* Opportunity to collaborate with global teams and leading financial institutions.* Competitive compensation and benefits package.**Why Matrix**Matrix is a global, dynamic, fast-growing technical consultancy leading technology services company with 13000 employees worldwide.
