Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Merchandising Coordinator who will be responsible for overseeing and leading a team of merchandisers in ensuring that products are displayed properly, inventory levels are maintained, and sales targets are met. This role involves coordinating the flow of products from suppliers to stores, analyzing sales data, and assisting in the development and execution of product plans.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to enhance product placement and display in retail locations.
- Manage and train merchandisers, ensuring they achieve display standards and sales objectives.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure promotional activities are aligned.
- Oversee inventory levels, monitor product performance, and collaborate with the purchasing team to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Review sales data to guide decisions on product displays and necessary changes.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising teams to ensure products are presented effectively in-store and online, maximizing sales potential.
- Produce and share sales and inventory reports to assess product performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Gather customer feedback to assist in making data-driven decisions for future product assortments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive environment in stores for customers.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years experience in merchandising, retail, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of merchandising principles and sales analytics.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to collaborate across teams.
- Knowledge of retail trends and customer behavior.
- Proficient in MS Office and merchandising software.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
The role of a Merchandising Coordinator is critical in ensuring that products are available, well-presented, and aligned with customer demand, contributing directly to the success of the company's retail or e-commerce operations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php20,000.00 per month
