Foreign Trade Analyst – ADM Bogotá, Colombia Location: Bogotá, D.C., Capital District, Colombia Objective of the position: Ensure the correct planning, execution and supervision of logistics operations, ensuring efficiency in the supply chain, product distribution and compliance with established deadlines, in order to optimize resources and meet customer needs. Responsibilities Planning and Coordination: Design and execute logistics strategies to ensure efficiency in the distribution of products and services. Import and Export: Supervise and manage import, export and distribution processes, complying with local and international regulations. Coordinate the import and export processes of goods, ensuring compliance with legal and customs regulations. Supervise the documentation required for foreign trade procedures (invoices, certificates of origin, packing lists, among others). Manage the relationship with customs agents, international carriers and logistics providers. Guarantee the correct nationalization of documents and goods, minimizing time and costs. Nationalization of the ship, reception of the ship, management of documentation. Coordinate berthing window with ports in conjunction with the commercial team. Dispatch Logistics: Plan and monitor the processes of dispatching goods from distribution centers to delivery points. Ensure inventory availability to fulfill customer orders. Verify that products are properly packaged and labeled for transportation. Resolve operational issues that may arise during clearance. Maintain constant communication with operational personnel in ports. Delivery of Products to Customers: Ensure that deliveries are made within the established times and under the conditions agreed with customers. Supervise the quality and condition of the products delivered. Coordinate transportation logistics to ensure punctuality and customer satisfaction. Manage and follow up on claims or incidents related to deliveries. Coordinate, monitor, schedule and ensure compliance of shipments. Compliance vs. scheduled reporting. Communicate with customers regarding load/program status. Logistics Operations: Verify the correct billing of logistics services, including transportation, customs and clearance costs. Coordinate with the administrative area to ensure that invoices are issued and sent on time. Analyze logistics costs and propose strategies to optimize expenses. Coordinate with Finance for the release of shipping orders. Nationalization of Documents and Deliveries: Manage the nationalization of goods and documents, ensuring the correct declaration before the customs authorities. Keep the necessary permits and certificates for foreign trade operations up to date. Resolve issues related to nationalization, such as delays or inconsistencies in documentation. Compliance: Ensure that logistics operations comply with applicable local and international regulations, including foreign trade and transportation regulations. Keep the legal documents and permits necessary for the logistics operation up to date. Qualifications Professional in Logistics, Foreign Trade, International Business/International Trade, Industrial Engineering or similar. Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, foreign trade, transportation and distribution. Proven experience in import, export and nationalization processes of goods. Skills Leadership and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams. Problem‑solving and decision‑making under pressure. Effective communication and negotiation. Organization and attention to detail. Know‑How Mastery of customs and foreign trade regulations. Knowledge in transport and distribution management. Advanced Office management (Pivot Tables, formulas, macros). Advanced Excel and ability to analyze logistics costs. Advanced English.
