Senior Engagement Manager, Professional Services Join to apply for the Senior Engagement Manager, Professional Services role at Amazon Web Services (AWS) . The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team seeks an Engagement Manager (EM) to lead delivery of complex cloud solution projects. Combining technical expertise with strong project leadership, you will drive successful implementations of AWS-based solutions for clients, bridge business requirements with technical solutions, and apply AWS frameworks like Well‑Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage complex cloud migration and implementation projects. Leverage AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning. Bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer objectives. Distill customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business objectives. Decompose complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions. Contribute to technical documentation and define documentation standards. Execute project plans, proactively identify and manage risks, resolve issues, and drive projects to successful completion. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of cloud‑based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network, and operating system experience. 5+ years of technical program management experience. Experience in a client‑facing consultative role working with large, complex enterprise customers. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent. Fluently speak, write, and read English. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading large‑scale technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, and successful program completion. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification. Knowledge of AWS or cloud technologies. Experience implementing AWS/cloud services. AWS experience preferred.
