This isn't a traditional content manager role. You'll be building intelligent content systems—think systems architect meets master craftsperson . Someone who believes that AI has exposed the cheapness of content that was always cheap (the copycat stuff, the keyword-stuffed noise), while simultaneously creating unprecedented opportunities for those willing to engineer scalable, high-quality content operations. You'll manage a team of content writers and strategists, working directly with founders, CMOs, and product leaders at some of the most exciting startups in the U.S. and Latin America. You'll create content that doesn't just rank—it sticks. Content that changes how people think, gets saved for later, gets shared with colleagues. Your Career Growth Path at Meaningful Months 1-12: SEO Content Manager or Specialist Manage content team, build scalable systems across written/video, master content engineering fundamentals, and deepen SEO/AEO knowledge working with Orlando, Ali, and Alberto. Months 12-24: Senior SEO/AEO Specialist Transition to strategic SEO/AEO ownership, lead technical audits and implementations, specialize in Answer Engine Optimization for AI search platforms, and develop programmatic SEO strategies. Months 24-36: SEO/AEO Manager Lead SEO/AEO service line, manage team of specialists, own revenue targets, develop proprietary methodologies, and build thought leadership through speaking and content. Responsibilities Manage & Develop the Content Team Directly manage 3-5 content writers and strategists through weekly 1:1s and coaching Build repeatable workflows, quality standards, and training programs for AI-augmented content creation Manage team capacity, hiring, and foster a culture of experimentation and wellbeing Promote healthy team culture and mental wellbeing (following Ali's leadership example) Build Content Engineering Systems Design scalable workflows using AirOps for content automation and programmatic SEO Build content infrastructure: metadata frameworks, taxonomies, templates across formats Create modular, reusable content components and AI-powered workflows (AIR Framework: Automate, Integrate, Refine) Execute Content Strategy & Client Delivery Own day-to-day client operations and ensure quality delivery Conduct weekly client check-ins and monthly performance reviews Identify content opportunities and translate insights between written and video formats Multi-Format Content Optimization Optimize written content for traditional SEO and AI search engines (AEO/GEO) Structure content for Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and omnichannel distribution Build "impossible-to-replicate" content assets using proprietary data, expert insights, and unique research SEO/AEO Skill Building Work with Orlando and Ali to master technical SEO, keyword research, and performance analytics Learn Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) for AI-powered search platforms Gradually own SEO strategy for select clients under director guidance Participate in SEO audits and technical implementations with director oversight Required Skills Content Management Experience 4+ years of professional content experience (B2B SaaS, tech startups, or agency) 1-2+ years managing or leading content teams or projects Proven ability to build processes, coach people, and maintain quality Portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and execution excellence Experience managing client relationships and expectations Systems Thinking You think in workflows, not just one-off pieces Comfortable with the concept of "content engineering" or eager to learn it Interest in building repeatable, scalable systems across content formats Understanding that automation amplifies strategy (it doesn't replace it) Ability to see how insights from one format (written SEO) apply to another (video SEO) AI-Forward Mindset Hands‑on experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) Excited about tools like AirOps for content orchestration and automation Comfortable with prompt engineering or willing to learn quickly Understanding that AI is a collaborator, not a replacement for human thinking Hungry to experiment with new AI capabilities as they emerge High Agency & Learning Orientation You research relentlessly, experiment fearlessly, and document generously You're energized by ambiguity and building something from scratch You take ownership: when something isn't working, you fix it (or build a better system) You believe "I don't know yet" is the start of learning, not an excuse Excited about learning video content strategy AND technical SEO/AEO even if you haven't done them professionally Motivated by clear career growth and skill development opportunities Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals (keyword research, on-page optimization, search intent) Familiarity with content strategy: topic clusters, buyer journey mapping, strategic prioritization Experience with analytics: understanding what content performs and why Writing & Editorial Judgment Strong writing ability and editorial eye You can tell good content from great content quickly Deep appreciation for research, storytelling, and authentic expertise Ability to maintain quality while scaling output Suggested Skills Experience with YouTube SEO, video content strategy, or video production workflows Understanding of video engagement metrics, retention curves, and YouTube analytics Knowledge of video scripting, thumbnail optimization, or video metadata Experience with content engineering, structured content, or metadata frameworks Knowledge of schema markup and technical SEO implementation (including video schema) Familiarity with Webflow, Framer, or modern CMS platforms Understanding of programmatic SEO and content automation at scale Background in product management, software engineering, or technical writing Previous work with fintech, B2B SaaS, or high-growth tech companies (especially unicorns) Experience using AirOps or similar content orchestration platforms Comfort with video editing concepts (you won't edit, but understanding the process helps) Any technical SEO experience or certifications (we'll help you build this regardless) Familiarity with martech tools and analytics platforms (GA4, Looker Studio, etc.) Why Join Meaningful?
