As a Jr QA Specialist, your role is pivotal in upholding the quality of websites constructed on platforms including Elementor Pro, Webflow, Shopify, and more. Your primary focus will be on conducting thorough testing and validation processes. Collaborating closely with developers and other team members, your mission is to sustain the elevated quality standards of our web projects. You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring exceptional web experiences. What You Do: Develop Test Plan & Execute QA Activities: Create detailed test plans for websites and/or applications, encompassing functional, regression, accessibility, security, performance, manual, and automated tests. Execute testing procedures, both manual and automated, to identify and report bugs, ensuring alignment with technical standards and project requirements. Collaborate closely with the development team for quick and efficient resolution of identified issues. Collaboration and Reporting: Actively support and integrate the QA process within the development workflow, adapting to changing priorities and project dynamics. Assist other QA team members, manage multiple ongoing work streams, and contribute to a cohesive and efficient testing effort. Foster seamless collaboration with both the development and design teams, ensuring the alignment of testing activities with design and functionality. Continuous Improvement: Innovate and enhance current test procedures and guidelines to continuously elevate the effectiveness and efficiency of the QA process. Identify the scope and testing needs for each particular release, contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. Test Execution: Conduct comprehensive testing of websites and mobile apps using a combination of manual test techniques and automated tools. Thoroughly test projects on various web browsers and mobile device versions, providing actionable feedback on quality standards and user experience. Documenting and Maintenance: Maintain up-to-date test cases and create comprehensive test plans for each project, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and traceability. Support the quality assurance process across different platforms, contributing to the delivery of reliable and user-friendly software. Collaboration and Coordination: Coordinate effectively with the development team using project management software such as ClickUp, JIRA, and/or Trello, ensuring transparent communication and task management. Utilize Quality Assurance software such as Firebug, Charles, or Selenium to facilitate efficient testing processes and bug tracking. Technical Testing Approaches: Provide valuable insights and suggestions for the implementation of new technical testing approaches within the QA team, driving continuous improvement and innovation. Collaborate with the QA team to explore and adopt new tools and methodologies that enhance testing accuracy and efficiency. What You Need to Succeed: Experience: At least 1 year in software quality assurance, with specific experience in Elementor Pro, Webflow, Shopify, etc. At least 1 year of experience as a Test/QA Engineer. Ability to read JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with some experience in accessibility, security, performance, manual and automated testing. Problem‑Solving Skills: Excellent problem‑solving skills, passion for technical challenges, and a willingness to learn. Understanding of Web Standards: Strong understanding of web browsers and different mobile device market share, versions, and functionality. Methodologies: Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Lean, Agile, and/or Scrum.
