Note: If you're hired for this role, you may be asked to update your LinkedIn profile :) Role Overview We’re looking for an Ad Creative Video Editor to craft direct-response-style videos that captivate and convert. This full-time, remote role is perfect for someone with a strong editing background, particularly in eCommerce and performance marketing. You’ll be responsible for editing VSLs, short‑form video ads, and iterations of winning creatives — always with a focus on performance and watch time. Key Responsibilities Edit Direct Response Videos: Produce engaging edits for formats like VSLs, UGC ads, and short‑form content that drive results. Source & Integrate B‑Roll: Find high‑quality, relevant footage from external sites to enhance storytelling and keep visuals dynamic. Create Iterations of Winning Ads: Take top‑performing creatives and rework them into new variations for ongoing testing and scaling. Follow High‑Converting Editing Principles: Implement best practices for pacing, structure, transitions, hooks, and calls to action to maximize viewer engagement. Maintain Visual Consistency & Brand Quality: Ensure all output adheres to brand style guidelines and maintains a polished, professional look. Collaborate with Creative & Strategy Teams: Work closely with Creative Strategists, marketers, and designers to execute concepts with speed and quality. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Average Watch Time Number of Videos Edited per Week Total Minutes of Edited Content Delivered Weekly Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience editing for direct response brands or performance marketing campaigns Strong understanding of engagement‑driven editing techniques (pacing, storytelling, viewer retention) Expert‑level proficiency with industry‑standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects) Ability to work with briefs and scripts to bring strategic concepts to life Attention to detail, excellent file organization, and ability to meet tight deadlines Nice‑to‑Have Skills Familiarity with AI tools for editing or asset sourcing Experience creating for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other paid social platforms Motion graphics or animation experience is a bonus Who Should Apply? ✅ Apply If You Thrive in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment Love editing videos that actually convert Can self‑manage and hit deadlines without constant supervision Enjoy experimenting with new formats and styles
