Duties and Responsibilities:

MAINTENANCE and MONITORING

  1. Respond to reactive maintenance work notification less than 24 hrs.
  2. Initiate onsite maintenance repair work which is less than 48 hours of notification/request.
  3. Perform remote and onsite troubleshooting per Customer’s procedures and OEM manuals.
  4. Remove and replace failed parts per OEM manual or Customer’s directions.
  5. Manage onsite spare parts inventory per Customer’s direction.
  6. Support any Return Material Authorization (RMA) process activity for failed parts under project warranty per Customer’s direction.
  7. Support root cause analysis efforts with Customer in conjunction with OEM.
  8. Promptly communicate any identified corrective issues noticed per standard procedure with Customer’s 24/7 Operations team.
  9. Scope could be expanded to additional items by mutual consent between the Customer and MPI APC.
  10. Conduct monitoring of electrical/instrumentation equipment performance.
  11. Prepare accurate and updated documentation of electrical maintenance activities and interpret electrical maintenance data.
  12. Assist in the attainment of Quality and EHS key performance measures.
  13. Assist management in ensuring harmonious relations with the Customer.
  14. Directly supervise the Electrical & Instrumentation Technician.
  15. Assist in the implementation of company policies, safety and security rules, and code of conduct.
  16. Perform Preventive Maintenance Activities (w/ third party) which include: maintenance of HV transformer, and HV & MV switchgear, calibration of meters, fire system inspection, fire system test, HVAC inspection and cleaning, inspection/cleaning/IR/Torque of LV AC & DC, selection for performance test, inverters annual & semi-annual maintenance cleaning, and telco rack inspection and cleaning.

QUALITY ASSURANCE and QUALITY CONTROL

  1. Conduct inspection of all ongoing activities for electrical installations.
  2. Conduct inspections for all electrical material deliveries.
  3. Attend all electrical inspections with Customer/contractor representatives.
  4. Submit inspection requests in coordination with concerned site/project engineers.
  5. Prepare daily QA/QC report regarding inspections, materials, non-conformances etc.
  6. Prepare weekly surveillance reports, non-conformance reports and verification of corrective actions.
  7. Check the drawings and documents used at site for approvals and compliance with project requirements.
  8. Ensure that all equipment used are calibrated and with valid certificates.
  9. Assist / coordinate the preparation of the final handing over documents such as QC/QA documents, testing and commissioning reports etc.
  10. Preparation of testing and commissioning method statements in coordination with vendors, General Contractor representatives and project owner’s representatives.
  11. In compliance with the Company’s Business Continuity Plan, implement business continuity management procedures according to business continuity management framework and appropriate standards.
  12. Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Licensed Electrical Engineer.
  • At least three (3) years experience as electrical/instrumentation Supervisor in the maintenance of power plant or manufacturing industries.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular) is an advantage.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving analytical skills.
  • With valid driver’s license.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift.

Supplemental Pay:

  • 13th month salary.
  • Overtime pay.
