Safety Specialist

Overview Essel Environmental is seeking a dedicated Safety Specialist to join our team. The Safety Specialist will be responsible for implementing safety programs, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Project Types Wet/Dry Underground Utilities Infrastructure Responsibilities Develop and implement safety policies and procedures Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions Provide safety training to employees on various topics including OSHA regulations and emergency response procedures Maintain records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incidents Collaborate with management to ensure a safe work environment Qualifications Education in Occupational Health and Safety or related field Proven experience working in safety compliance, risk management, or related field Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards Strong communication and interpersonal skills Certification in EHS or related field is a plus Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr
