POSITION

In this role, the Senior Engineer will champion and lead teams in the designing of transportation passageway projects for clients across a spectrum of design work that encompasses roadways, high-speed, multi-lane systems, bike paths, bridges, and sidewalks to smaller municipality projects. These responsibilities include:

1. Project Management: leads team from inception to completion to achieve project results on time and within budget.
2. Facilitate quality assurance and quality controls on project work within the team.
3. Analyze system deficiencies and provide improvement alternatives to meet project goals.
4. Leverage design software to draft plans, drawings, and models.
5. Ensure precise calculations and safety in project design through meticulous attention to detail.
6. Draft technical writing pieces such as Requests for Proposals, report writing, project specifications, and memorandums.
7. Engage with community members, government officials, and other stakeholders to communicate project goals, address concerns, and gather input.
8. Surpass client expectations and complete projects on time.
9. Develop, inspire, and mentor reporting personnel.

YOUR STRENGTHS

1. Professional Engineering (PE) license or able to obtain after hire
2. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent
3. Minimum of 8+ years’ experience with civil transportation design and roadway projects
4. Advanced project management experience leading complex projects
5. Working knowledge of roadway, site grading, and utilities
6. Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD and Bentley
7. Strong communicator through technical writing and public speaking
8. A valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record is required for periodic travel
