What does our recruitment process look like?
- Recruiter Screen: In the first call, our recruiter will learn more about you and your story to check a potential fit for gravity9. This is also an opportunity to ask your questions about the role and company. This step might take around 60 mins.
- Tech 1 Interview: In this meeting your potential future teammate will take a deeper dive into your experience and what you could bring to the team. This step will take around 60 mins.
- Tech 2 Interview: In this meeting your potential future teammate will take a deeper dive into your experience and what you could bring to the team. This step will take around 90 mins.
- Final Interview: You made it to the very last stage Here we already strive to cooperate with you and give you an opportunity to meet our leadership team during this informal talk. This step will take around 30 mins.

Role Description
We are looking for a smart, enthusiastic full-stack software engineer with a keen interest in current technology and engineering. Using your experience of ASP.NET core, and software engineering best practices, you will be involved in the design and implementation of secure and scalable applications that are transforming industries. You will take an active part in team discussions and code reviews and you will work collaboratively with your colleagues to identify, prioritise and deliver features which bring value to our clients.
We believe small, multi-disciplinary teams are most effective in delivering complex change. As such, we are looking for someone with a collaborative mindset who is happy to be flexible and take on different responsibilities over the lifetime of our projects.
Must Have:
- Excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written English (working directly with UK/US based clients)
- Strong experience working with .NET, including:
- Strong multithreading experience
- Strong unit and integration tests
- Entity Framework
- Strong experience in MongoDB or other NoSQL databases (data modelling and performance)
- Understanding of Synch and Async communication:
- REST based
- Queue and/or Topic based (depending on technology)
- Proficiency in working with Microservice Architecture:
- Including containerization, high availability and failover scenarios
- Experience in working with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in working with Azure or AWS
- Commercial experience with C++ would be a plus
