The Impact of the “Bogota Analyst” to Coupa Analyst will be part of Coupa’s Global VEC team — a dynamic group driving data-backed decision-making, digital tool development, and business innovation across pre-sales, value advisory, and customer success. This hybrid role blends analytics, automation, and front-end development. The Analyst will build dashboards, develop analytics tools and web-based applications, and generate actionable insights that support Coupa’s customers and leadership teams globally. What you will do A. Data Analytics & Visualization 1. Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, and PySpark to identify patterns and generate business insights. 2. Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards in Tableau / Power BI to track customer lifecycle metrics, adoption trends, and ROI outcomes. 3. Support senior analysts in preparing presentations and value assessments for internal and customer-facing engagements. B. Tool Development & Automation 1. Build and enhance internal analytical tools and applications using Java, React.js, and Node.js. 2. Collaborate with technical and analytics teams to integrate backend data pipelines with front-end dashboards or web portals. 3. Use GitHub for version control, code collaboration, and project management. 4. Automate recurring data workflows and create APIs or connectors to simplify data exchange across systems. C. Business Insights & Collaboration 1. Partner with stakeholders in Sales, Value Advisory, and Customer Success to deliver analytics-driven recommendations. 2. Translate data outputs into meaningful insights that support strategic decisions and customer value storytelling. 3. Contribute to reusable repositories of scripts, templates, and best practices across global analytics projects. D. Learning & Growth 1. Continuously upskill across both analytics and development tools to stay ahead of emerging technologies. 2. Collaborate in global syncs and innovation sessions to co-create scalable analytics solutions. 3. Demonstrate ownership and initiative in solving business challenges through creative data and tech solutions. What you will bring to Coupa 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or full-stack development. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark for data analysis and pipeline development. Deep experience with Java, React.js, and Node.js for building web-based applications or internal tools. Familiarity with GitHub for version control and collaborative development. Strong analytical thinking, data visualization, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or Data Analytics. Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) or Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes. Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Databricks). Experience working in SaaS, procurement, or consulting environments.
