Position overview Goals / % of Time Test Planning and Execution — 30% Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, cases, and scripts to verify system functionality, integration, and performance. Test Automation Build and Maintenance — 30% Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts in line with existing framework and methodology ensuring we have a thorough regression coverage. Defect Management and Troubleshooting — 15% Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution. Collaborate with developers and support teams to analyze root causes and verify fixes. Requirements Analysis and Collaboration — 15% Work with business analysts, developers, and end-users to understand requirements, clarify acceptance criteria, and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Test Documentation and Reporting — 10% Document test results, prepare test summary reports, and maintain traceability matrices to ensure compliance and support audits. Key responsibilities and authority Utilise a test automation Framework to drive efficiencies and value Designs and writes tests cognizant of the risk of the change Execute test cases under varying circumstances both manual and automated Document and evaluates test results Detect, log, and report program bugs and errors Investigate and identify likely problem causes in software Track defects and resolution timescales to enable tests to be re-planned and repeated Ongoing review of test procedures to improve value Partners with Engineers to drive Quality Assurance Work with software developers to determine solutions Participate in Agile Ceremonies Key requirements Experience in project management and QA approaches Advanced knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium (or Playwright), Appium (used for mobile testing), Serenity BDD, Playwright. (Cucumber) Working knowledge of programming languages, such as Java Working Knowledge of MS Dynamics CRM or other major CRM solutions (nice to have) Mathematical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills Excellent organisational and time management skills Accuracy and attention to detail Familiarity with agile frameworks Error documentation and debugging Test management software experience Interest in AI regarding testing practices Education/ Qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience # LI-Hybrid #LI-AR2 Beware of scams online or from individuals claiming to represent Convatec A formal recruitment process is required for all our opportunities prior to any offer of employment.
