Accounting Intern

We are looking for an Accounting Intern to join our team.

Responsibilities

1. Affiliation to health entities, pension to new hires.
2. Make the electronic payroll report to the DIAN and send the consolidated information to HUB.
3. Request certificate for taxes of contractors.
4. Funerary Report.
5. Onboarding- employee training (orientation payroll).
6. Manage the disability receivable to health entities (transcribe disability- request payment- report- request adjustment in accounting if there is an expense).
7. Perform work letters from contractors and employees.
8. Send payment files to providers.
9. Credit card report- consolidated invoices and sent them to hub to record them.
10. Monitoring educational allowance L&D.
11. Consolidation of Colombia payroll updates.
12. Manage payroll and invoices mail.

Requirements

1. Technical or Technician in accounting field.
2. Experience in MS office suite: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Excel knowledge is a must.
3. Work with legislation: Ability to understand the language of regulatory documents and their changes effective dates.
4. Documentation: Ability to work correctly with existing forms of documents (according to a sample).
5. Reporting: Ability to compile and analyze information to prepare PE reports, to submit an updated PE report.
6. Complexity of business communication: Communication with the peers and team members.
7. Problem-solving: Ability to identify unwanted situation, analyze factors that contribute to it and present results to colleagues in order to have workable solutions.
8. Tools: General knowledge and ability to work with MS Word & Excel. Nice to have general knowledge in Ilimitada system.
9. Payroll and social security legal compliance in Colombia.
10. Taxes calculation and legal compliance in Colombia.
