Accounting Manager

China Three Gorges Latam , leading renewable energy company, is seeking a Accounting Manager to join the team. The Accounting Manager makes sure the CTG company, affiliates and subsidiaries if any; works in compliance of the accounting and tax policies, and help the company have efficient money to sustain daily process. Key job responsibilities: Treasury: Conduct weekly the operational payments of 10 companies making sure there is no shortage of money for the daily operation Process urgent payments when it is needed to comply with payroll, taxes and supplier’s deadlines. Review and approve payments submitted in the ERP: Tax recalculations Arithmetical operations are correct Compliance with internal policies Complete attachments The form is the latest version of the controlled document Invoices comply with tax regulation Make monthly cash flows according to the payment’s commitment for 10 companies. Request every Friday from the cash pool the money needed to cover foreign currency payments. Mitigate the exchange rate exposure Make the monetization process with the bank, sending the forms requested to confirm the operation. Fill out the following documents: KYC’s requested by the different banks Opening bank account forms Prepare the corporate documents needed Changing signature’s forms Bank forms Configurate online banking after the opening bank account or when there is any change related to the authorized limits, signatures, etc. Send every Monday the bank balance report for 5 companies Management of the general cash Cash control Make sure the invoices comply with the tax regulation Collect the cash from the bank Monthly cash count Accounting : Supervise accounting outsourcing company for CTG Colombia: Review monthly reports Give feedback of the accounting information Make sure all the transactions are booked and recognized properly according to the Colombian accounting and tax standards Send weekly and monthly the information for the accounting processing: Invoices Payments Bank statements Employee reimbursements General cash Any other related. Supervise internal accounting for 8 companies: Make sure all the transactions are booked and recognized properly according to the Colombian accounting and tax standards Send weekly and monthly the information for the accounting processing: Invoices Payments Bank statements Employee reimbursements General cash Any other related. Accounting control tables for 7 companies: Shareholder loans Bridge loans Leasing under IFRS 16 Capital injection Intercompany EPC/BOP control Review the financial statements for the annual shareholder’s meeting for 10 companies: Make the adjustments considered Check they comply with Colombian accounting standards Review the consolidated financial statement for CTG Colombia. Prepare interim financial statements when it is required for any external entity (financial institutions, governmental entities, etc.) Update the accounting policies when it is needed Check the reports for the Superintendency of Public Servies (Baranoa I): Monthly report – FC2 Crom Quarterly report financial information Annual report – taxonomy Check the report for the Superintendency of Corporations (CTG Colombia) Monthly reports to HQ (as of 20th) for 4 companies Manage the fixed assets\intangible assets\low-value assets, keep assets in order, help to provide the reports of assets for 4 companies. ERP Provide support with the implementation of SAP for the companies in Colombia Attend the weekly meetings from EY China for the SAP issues Give feedback of the issues that do not allow that SAP comply with local requirements Verify that the solutions give by EY China comply with the local requirements Check the information submitted in SAP Check the reconciliations of the information in SAP with local software Participate in the trainings for SAP Follow up the status of the issues in Zentao/mail Provide support for the employees in Colombia with the SAP Audits Attend the internal, external, corporate and statutory audits for 10 companies: Make sure the audit requests are sent within the deadlines Provide all the information required by the auditors Accounting vouchers Contracts General ledgers Trial balances Auxiliaries Control tables (SHL, intercompanies, bridge loan, leasing, etc.) Answer all the questions asked by the auditors Fill out the confirmation letters Banks Suppliers Cash pool Fill out the management letters Prepare the audit memorandums for 10 companies: Ongoing business Leasing IFRS 16 Impairment of fixed assets CINIIF 23 Others Prepare and submit application forms for finance department for 4 companies Requirements: Certified Public Accountant in Colombia At least 10 years’ relevant experience related to accounting tasks At least 3 years’ experience as a bookkeeper. Experience in SAP Finance module Experience in accounting outsourcing or working for different companies at the same time. Experience of working in multicultural environments Experience in the electrical energy sector or public service sector Demonstrated Microsoft Office and good writing skills Experience working with all accounting functions in SAP Spoken and written English is a must and written Spanish Required #J-18808-Ljbffr
