Investment Banking Analyst (Remote - Colombia) Akos Advisors is a new boutique investment bank with expertise in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital solutions, and financial and valuation advisory. Akos focuses primarily on serving clients in the healthcare services sectors, including behavioral health, digital health, urgent care, lab services, staffing, and surgery centers. The founder, Eugene Izumo (Anderson 2012), recently launched the firm after building his investment banking career at top-tier firms such as Citigroup, Houlihan Lokey and B. Riley. Akos is part of the Finalis investment banking platform, which currently has over 1,000 global investment banking professionals. Akos is currently looking for an Investment Banking Analyst to support its engagements with existing clients and the growing pipeline of new client opportunities. The Analyst will be a foundational member of the team and will be given significant levels of responsibility and client-facing experience. The Analyst Role Analysts are primarily responsible for performing research and analyses in support of the execution of M&A transactions and new business generation, as well as the creation of financial models, investment memos, and client presentations. Perform business due diligence and execute M&A transactions Prepare investor memos, management presentations, and other client presentations Prepare, analyze, and explain historical and projected financial information Perform valuation and ad hoc financial analyses Assist in the execution of client engagements Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients, and professional advisors Communicate effectively with all members of the team Required Qualifications Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and ability to multitask Strong analytical/technical and qualitative abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word (in order of relative importance) Fundamental knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting and finance Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university with coursework in accounting and finance Interest in the healthcare sector Team player. Willingness to “do what it takes” to get the job done, including over-time hours and weekend work, as necessary Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years of sell-side M&A experience Operational financial modeling and valuation experience Resourceful problem solver and initiative-taker Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Experience with healthcare services and/or technologysectors Interest in business software (Pitchbook, Hubspot, Trello, Wix) and AI tools Compensation Akos is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation package.
