About The Role As a Fund Financial Analyst, you will support Acento’s Fund Accounting team across multiple aspects of fund financial reporting, analysis, and fund operations. This role combines technical accounting, financial analysis, and systems implementation, playing a key role in ensuring accurate fund reporting and efficient financial processes. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners, including fund administrators, auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel, supporting the administration and performance reporting of our real estate investment funds. Advanced English level is a MUST Responsibilities Your role is critical to the accuracy, compliance, and performance reporting of our investment funds. Key responsibilities include: Assist with the onboarding and implementation of a new fund software platform that will house both Fund and Asset Level Information. Coordinate with the proper teams to configure the software for both Fund and Asset level Information. Oversee data migration into the software, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Validate historical IRR calculations, NAVs, and financial information ensuring accuracy in the new software. Lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for fund accounting modules and information. Test fund accounting outputs in the system against actuals, ensuring accuracy. Assist with the rollout of the software and act as liaison between teams during rollout. Review quarterly fund financial statements, investor allocations, and quarterly capital account statements. Assist in the preparation and review of capital call and distribution calculations and notices. Support external fund administrators and coordinate delivery of required information. Assist with managing capital calls, distributions, expense allocations, and management fee calculations performed by our third‑party fund administrator. Prepare workpapers and supporting documents for quarterly and annual tax compliance by working directly with our external tax preparers to ensure we meet tax deadlines. Assist in preparing quarterly financial models for asset valuations. Prepare and analyze fund and investor level return metrics, such as time-weighted returns, IRRs, and cash-on-cash returns. Analyze fund governing documents and agreements to ensure funds are operating according to the agreements. Prepare workpapers and supporting documentation for the annual financial statement audits by working directly with our external auditors to ensure we meet our year end reporting deadlines. Assist in the calculation of distribution waterfalls and carried interest based on the terms of each fund’s governing documents. Assist with regulatory reporting (FATCA, CRS, AML/KYC) and all necessary compliance reporting. Assist in various administrative and operational matters pertaining to fund subsidiaries structured as Real Estate Investment Trust (“REITs”), including preparation of quarterly REIT compliance testing and coordination with our external tax preparers. Working with fund counsel to support the set-up of new domestic fund subsidiary entities. Assist in the preparation of various financial schedules and calculations. Perform special projects as needed and provide support to the fund accounting team. Qualifications Advanced English level and Spanish is a MUST Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, fund accounting, or related roles. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, US GAAP preferred. Experience preparing general ledgers, workpapers, and financial statements. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience in real estate, investment funds, Big 4, or U.S.-based companies is a plus. Valid U.S. visa is preferred but not required. Required Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
