Position Senior DevOps Engineer Location : Colombia, Medellín preferred. What you will be doing Own the infrastructure and deployment pipeline that powers HomeShow.ai. You’ll architect reliable, secure, and scalable cloud systems that enable our engineering team to ship with confidence and velocity. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation. Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions and AWS CodePipeline. Manage containerization and orchestration with Docker and ECS. Configure, optimize, and maintain Cloudflare services—including CDN, Web Application Firewall (WAF), DNS routing, caching strategies, SSL/TLS management, bot protection, and performance optimization. This includes managing Cloudflare Workers, page rules, security policies, and traffic routing to improve site performance, protect against threats, and enhance global availability. Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions with CloudWatch. Apply security best practices across all AWS resources and environments. Design and manage least‑privilege IAM roles, policies, and permission boundaries. Implement secure secrets storage and rotation using AWS Secrets Manager or Parameter Store. Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization. Automate deployment processes and infrastructure provisioning. Lead incident response and conduct post‑mortems. Maintain disaster recovery and backup systems. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of AWS DevOps/Infrastructure engineering experience Expert knowledge of core AWS services, including EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Route53, and VPC—covering provisioning, configuration, scaling, networking, and operational best practices across production workloads. Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation). Proficient with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Git workflows. Basic to intermediate understanding of Amazon Cognito Identity Pools. Experience with Cloudflare configuration (CDN, WAF, DNS, Workers). Strong Linux/Unix administration skills. Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS). Knowledge of networking, security groups, and load balancers. Scripting proficiency (Bash, Python, or similar). Preferred Skills and Qualifications AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer). Experience with Kubernetes (EKS). Familiarity with monitoring tools (DataDog, New Relic, Prometheus). Background in high availability and disaster recovery planning. Experience with blue‑green or canary deployments. Knowledge of security compliance frameworks (SOC 2, GDPR). Experience (basic to intermediate) with GCP and Google Services. Soft Skills Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail‑oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.
