Summary We’re hiring a Remote Paralegal who speaks both English and Spanish to support attorneys at a busy U.S. law firm. You’ll work on Personal Injury, Employment, Criminal or Family Law cases. This is a full-time, work‑from‑home position for someone with strong legal experience, especially in California litigation. Your job will include helping manage cases, talking with clients, preparing legal documents, and supporting attorneys with research and day‑to‑day tasks. You’ll also help translate and interpret between English and Spanish when needed. Responsibilities Case Management Help attorneys manage case files Track case activities, deadlines, and client notes Support personal injury, employment, or family law cases Legal Document Preparation Draft and edit documents like letters, pleadings, discovery, and motions Make sure documents follow California law and are filed on time Client Communication Be a main contact for clients—give updates, answer questions Help with client interviews and collecting needed paperwork Legal Research Research California laws for personal injury, employment, criminal or family law Share research summaries to support case planning Document Management Organize case files (digital and physical) Prepare exhibits, evidence, and case materials for court or depositions Administrative Support Help attorneys with calendars, meetings, and court dates Assist with billing, time tracking, and scheduling Translate legal documents (English ↔ Spanish) Help with client meetings, depositions, and interviews when interpretation is needed Qualifications A degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field Or a paralegal certificate from an approved school 2+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal for a U.S. law firm required Preferred: experience in California cases (PI, employment, criminal or family law) Speak English at a B2 level or higher, with strong writing and speaking skills Experience using Clio, MyCase, and other case management tools Strong understanding of California legal procedures Great at staying organized, meeting deadlines, and handling private info WFH Requirements Fluent in English (spoken and written) Quiet, professional home workspace Reliable internet (10MBPS or faster) + backup option Reliable power + backup (battery or generator) Computer with at least: Intel i3 (8th Gen), 8GB RAM, SSD Willing to work U.S. business hours schedule You should be detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working directly with attorneys and clients. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to grow with a strong, remote legal team.
