Proficiency in spoken and written English at an advanced level is required for this role. A Day in the Life: The Social Commerce Strategist plays a pivotal role in driving revenue and optimizing affiliate and social commerce strategies through data‑driven, AI‑enhanced processes. This position manages affiliate and social ambassador partnerships across platforms like TikTok, Meta, and Amazon affiliate, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and maximizing partnership profitability. Daily responsibilities include overseeing affiliate production and outreach, optimizing social shops, and refining commission strategies based on GMV and engagement metrics. In this fast‑paced role, the Social Commerce Strategist also serves as a key client liaison, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to sustain and strengthen client relationships. The strategist keeps pace with industry trends, continuously integrating innovative tactics to elevate social commerce results. Responsibilities: TikTok Shops & Affiliate Management: Execute a TikTok Shop affiliate strategy and/or social ambassador aligned with brand objectives. Affiliate Outreach & Onboarding: Manage affiliate messaging system and Discord communities to encourage ongoing partnerships that are mutually beneficial. Commerce Optimization: Manage social commerce initiatives across platforms like TikTok and Meta, including setup and continuous optimization of social shops. Data‑driven Reporting & Analytics: Track and report key metrics—GMV, response rate, program growth—provide commission strategies and analyze overall profitability. Develop forecasts and goals for clients based on historical data. Client Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, providing regular updates on campaign performance, insights, and recommendations. Continuous Learning & Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and platform updates, seeking new opportunities and strategies to enhance performance. Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes. Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department. Role Requirements: 2+ years of experience in social media (agency experience preferred). Industry Expertise: Proactively stay current with trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates; provide examples of applying this knowledge. Proficiency in TikTok Shop Seller Center: Comfort navigating and utilizing TikTok's commerce suite; experience in Affiliate management system. Affiliate & Ambassador Program Experience: Understanding of the social ambassador ecosystem and proven experience in at least one sub‑affiliate program. Client Variety: Proven track record managing social media strategies for multiple clients across industries. Strong Analytical Skills: Analyze campaign data, derive actionable insights and make data‑driven decisions to optimize performance. Commerce Management Experience: Prior experience managing social commerce initiatives and optimizing social shops on TikTok and Meta. Performance Influencer Management: Proficiency in managing influencer campaigns focused on specific performance metrics. Autonomous workflow capability: Highly self‑motivated and capable of working independently to deliver exceptional results. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) REP Goal of $260,000. Hit within 15% of target forecast or have key recommendations in place to hit goals. Below 10% client churn rate. Understand all strategies of the department and execute at 100%. Navigate all performance questions confidently. Most Important Things (MITs) Client performance and sentiment. Autonomous workflow management and account ownership. Department support.
