Drive key technical decisions regarding technology selection, design patterns, and long‑term scalability of the platform. Champion the adoption of modern development practices, including the effective use of AI‑powered tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer, ChatGPT) to accelerate development and improve quality across the team. Own the technical roadmap for the modernization effort, collaborating with product and engineering managers to align priorities with business goals. Mentor and coach senior and mid‑level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning. Lead code and design reviews to ensure high‑quality, maintainable, and well‑tested code across the entire stack. Collaborate closely with front‑end leads, DevOps, and product teams to break down complex projects and ensure seamless, cross‑functional execution. Lead development of the most critical and complex components of the system, including core microservices, data migration strategies, and performance optimizations.
