Wood – Civil Engineer (Bogota, D.C., Capital District, Colombia) Wood is looking for a Civil Engineer to join its Projects unit, focusing on the Oil, Gas, and New Energies (OGNE) sector. This is an on‑site position in Bogota. Responsibilities Conduct field visits to gather required information for project development and accompany field activities to verify work performed by subcontractors. Develop discipline‑specific deliverables such as basis and design criteria, specifications, calculation reports, and subcontractor inspection plans. Ensure that designs comply with national and international codes and standards, including NSR‑10, RAS, API, ASTM, OSHA regulations, client specifications, and engineering best practices. Participate in interdisciplinary document reviews to ensure proper information handling and engineering integrity. Execute any other responsibilities assigned by immediate supervisor in alignment with company needs. Qualifications Desired for role Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D, HEC‑RAS, EPANET, EPASWMM; familiarity with Sketch and SP3D preferred. Knowledge of Colombian regulations (RAS 2000, NTC‑1500, etc.) and international standards (API, ASTM, OSHA). Microsoft Office proficiency. Experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
