Responsibilities Strong professional experience working with C and/or C++ codebases, particularly in legacy systems. Proven ability to read, understand, and reason about complex existing code, even without original documentation. Experience with reverse engineering or analyzing legacy systems for migration, modernization, or refactoring initiatives. Solid understanding of relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL, including how application logic interacts with data layers. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to engineers working in other languages (Java). Comfort working alongside AI-assisted development or code analysis tools, with the ability to validate and contextualize their outputs. Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and structured problem-solving skills. Experience collaborating in cross-functional, multi-language engineering teams.
