Responsibilities Responsible for Materials Engineering in the LATAM Regions, developing and implementing the defined strategy. Project management of materials technology for compounds and formulation of PVC/CPVC, polyolefins and other raw materials, seeking to optimize processes and costs. Implementation of standardization, specifications and best practices in PVC and recycled polyolefins. Technical leadership of the Compounds Plant production, ensuring that the compounds produced meet the specifications required for the extrusion and injection molding process. Requirements Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Materials Engineering Manager . Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering and related areas. Expertise in extrusion, injection molding and other processes, supporting the operation in strategic projects and challenges. Nice to have: postgraduate degree in plastics technology or related fields. Knowledge in: Plastic Technology; Plastic Processing; Compound Formulation; Quality Management. Critical thinking, planning, analytical thinking, communication skills, impact and influence, negotiation skills. Language Both Spanish and English (advanced) is a MUST. Portuguese is a plus.
