Overview Laravel and React Developer (Latin America, Remote position) at Bluelight. Bluelight is a software consultancy focused on delivering high-quality applications and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented work environment. This remote role supports projects across the United States and Central/South America. Responsibilities Develop and maintain Laravel and React applications, ensuring high quality, performance, and reliability. Utilize Laravel 8+ features, including Eloquent ORM, Laravel Authentication, and Laravel Query Builder. Work with testing tools such as Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, and Playwright to ensure robust software. Implement Inertia.js and RESTful APIs in Laravel and collaborate with frontend technologies (React, Vue.js, Laravel Livewire, etc.). Contribute to frontend development tasks and participate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Demonstrate ownership over work, meet estimates, and align with team and client goals. Maintain attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude. Qualifications 4+ years of experience with Laravel, specifically Laravel 8 and above. Experience with Eloquent ORM, Laravel Authentication, Laravel Query Builder. Experience with testing tools, such as Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, Playwright. Experience with Inertia.js and RESTful API development in Laravel. Experience with frontend development (React, Vue.js, Laravel Livewire, etc.). Experience with Tailwind CSS is a bonus. Strong ownership, client-focused delivery, and a positive mindset. Detail-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and teammates.
