Overview The Live Risk Specialist is responsible for protecting the company against unprofitable customer behavior and minimizing unnecessary exposure across the company’s brands. The role focuses on monitoring incoming bets, primarily on live events—using established risk management tools while applying customer profiling and risk assessment techniques to mitigate fraud, GAP, and other risk-related activities. Responsibilities Analyze live betting patterns, monitor customer limits, and support customer risk profiling and rating processes. Monitor incoming live bets to identify high-risk behavior, fraud indicators, and unprofitable betting patterns. Investigate, document, and report inconsistencies or errors in the betting offer, pricing, or risk management tools. Collaborate closely with Betting Intelligence, Trading, and Bookmaking Strategy teams to ensure aligned risk decisions. Monitor and optimize live risk management processes, suggesting improvements and supporting the development of new tools and controls. Ensure the Live Trading team identifies, escalates, and reports match-related inconsistencies, providing structured feedback and case documentation. Contribute to the documentation, reporting, and presentation of risk-related findings, projects, and outcomes to the team. Qualifications Solid understanding of sports. Strong ability to make data-driven decisions and apply innovative, solution-oriented thinking in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail. Ability to adapt to different team dynamics and collaborate effectively across functions. Excellent listening and learning skills. Comfortable in a desk-based, high-focus role. Advanced analytic skills. Good written and oral communication skills in English. Tolerance to work under pressure. Competent in Excel and other Microsoft Office programs. Proactive and self-driven approach. Sharp focus and concentration. Strong sense of ownership and commitment. Openness to receiving and providing constructive feedback.
