The Role To support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of a long‑term, large‑scale project within the English and School Education pillar. The post holder will coordinate a range of simultaneous administrative and operational tasks, ensuring timely and efficient delivery in full compliance with British Council and stakeholder policies and procedures. Main Accountabilities But Not Limited To The Following Project Support Supports the Operations Managers in the implementation of diversity mainstreaming action plans, contributing actively to their delivery. Participates in internal and external meetings to report on project performance and progress. Is responsible for data management, including timely data entry, data quality assurance, basic analysis of monitoring data, and the preparation of progress reports to meet partner requirements. Relationship and Stakeholder Management Manages relationships with stakeholders at the appropriate level, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Manages relationships with vendors and suppliers, holding them accountable for the timely and quality delivery of contracted services. Finance and Resource Management Manages financial tools for the planning, monitoring, and reporting of expenditure, costs, and budget variables for the assigned project, in line with British Council and stakeholder policies. Monitors cash flow and budget forecasts for the assigned project, ensuring alignment with stakeholder requirements and British Council financial procedures. Supports the Operations Managers in monitoring financial variations, helping to anticipate and mitigate financial risks. Requirements Of The Role Three (3) years of proven experience in administrative and/or control management and/or project implementation. Understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution, etc.) Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, etc.) Understanding of procurement, evaluation and reporting requirements of projects. Ability to operate in English and Spanish (both written and spoken) at a business level. Desirable Experience managing public funds. Experience in social projects and working with vulnerable communities. Post graduate studies in project management, public policy, communications, administration or any other related areas.
