Location: Colombia (Remote) Time Zone: EST alignment required Availability: Full-time Language: Fluent English (B2+ or C1 level) – mandatory Contractor Role | Salary Range: $1,000 - $1,300 USD About the Role We’re looking for a highly structured, client-facing Project Manager based in Colombia to lead AI and software automation projects end to end. This role goes far beyond task tracking. You’ll act as the operational and organizational core of client projects , translating client vision into clear architectures, workflows, and deliverables, while coordinating closely with internal teams and leadership. You will work closely with company leadership initially, then progressively take full ownership of projects, from discovery and architecture to execution, testing, and delivery. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary Project Manager for client accounts , especially during early and mid project phases. Translate client needs and vision into: Structured architectural flows Clear project phases and next steps Well-documented workflows and use cases Manage day-to-day client communication in English, including follow-ups, clarifications, onboarding, and delivery coordination. Review and validate work delivered by developers to ensure alignment with client requirements, approved architectures, and agreed scope and expectations Coordinate across internal teams (sales, development) to ensure smooth execution and on-time delivery. Organize, document, and track all project-related information, including: Meeting notes Decisions Action items Feedback loops Ensure that all client information is captured, structured, and prepared for review . Participate in testing and validation of AI systems, automations, and workflows prior to client delivery. Required Skills & Experience Fluent English (C1 level), both written and spoken , with the ability to confidently communicate with clients, lead meetings, manage follow-ups, and participate in alignment discussions. #1 – COMMUNICATION: Exceptional client-facing and internal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain ideas, organize information, drive alignment, and proactively move conversations and projects forward. Exceptional autonomy and ownership mindset , with the ability to independently structure work, define next steps, and proactively move projects forward without constant direction. Strong ability to translate ambiguous or high-level input into clear, structured workflows, deliverables, and action plans . Excellent client-facing communication skills , with confidence leading conversations, follow-ups, and alignment discussions in English. Fluent English (C1 level) , both written and spoken. Strong written communication skills for creating clear, well-structured technical documents, proposals, and client-ready deliverables . Proven ability to create strategic, visually polished presentations and documentation that clearly communicate complex ideas (experience with Canva, Google Docs, or similar tools ). Experience using tools such as Miro (or similar) to design and communicate process flows and system architectures . Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable bringing structure to complex, multi-step workflows . Ability to collaborate effectively with developers and internal stakeholders, reviewing outputs and ensuring alignment with defined goals and expectations. Nice to Have (Optional) Experience in project management within software, AI, or automation-driven environments. Solid understanding of: software development lifecycles, testing and quality validation, automation-based systems. Basic API literacy and technical research skills: familiarity with APIs and endpoints (REST basics), ability to review documentation, identify required credentials/scopes, understand common request/response patterns, and independently research integration feasibility (including testing endpoints with tools like Postman or similar) Experience working with AI-powered systems, automations, or system integrations. Familiarity with CRMs, ERPs, communication platforms, or automation tools. Experience with client onboarding and long-term project ownership.
