Job Summary

Aerosapien Technologies is seeking a motivated Junior Electrical BIM Modeler to support electrical modeling and drafting activities for commercial, industrial, and construction projects. The ideal candidate should have an electrical engineering diploma or degree, basic knowledge of Autodesk Revit, and an understanding of electrical installations and field practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and update 3D electrical models using Autodesk Revit MEP.

Assist in preparing electrical layouts, lighting plans, power distribution layouts, cable trays, and conduit routing.

Convert 2D electrical drawings into accurate 3D BIM models.

Support electrical modeling and documentation based on engineering drawings and project requirements.

Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams.

Assist in identifying and resolving basic coordination issues.

Update electrical drawings and models based on field changes and engineering comments.

Maintain project documentation and follow established BIM standards.

Required Qualifications

Diploma, technical qualification, or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology.

0–2 years of relevant experience; recent graduates with relevant training are encouraged to apply.

Basic working knowledge of Autodesk Revit MEP (Electrical).

Understanding of electrical installation methods, wiring, conduits, cable trays, lighting, and power distribution.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and layouts.

Electrical site experience, internship, or practical training preferred.

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.

Willingness to learn U.S. electrical construction standards and BIM workflows.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with Navisworks and BIM coordination.

Knowledge of electrical construction documentation.

Basic English communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
