What You'll Do Integrate agentic AI systems directly into production Rails applications. Architect scalable, maintainable frameworks where AI + human engineers code side by side. Apply your deep Ruby/Rails expertise to enhance speed, reliability, and intelligence of applications. Work across the stack —Rails, StimulusJS, Hotwire, background jobs, testing—while embedding AI in every layer. Pioneer the patterns that will define the next decade of software engineering. What We're Looking For 5+ years of full-stack Ruby on Rails experience—your fundamentals need to be rock solid. A deep love of Ruby and Rails conventions, from tests to gems to system design. Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (but you’re hungry to go way beyond autocomplete). An architect’s mindset: you think in systems, patterns, and long-term scalability. Bonus Points Agentic AI experience — whether building with MCP servers, RAGs, or fine-tuning models, you’ve already started down this path. You’ve published gems or built OSS libraries.
