AMAZON CHANNEL MANAGER Farmers Defense - Remote About Farmers Defense: Farmers Defense is a mission-driven DTC brand specializing in protective workwear for the garden, agriculture, and hardware industries. The Opportunity: We're hiring an Amazon Channel Manager to own our Amazon ecosystem end-to-end—from advertising performance to content optimization to inventory management. This role currently represents millions in annual revenue and we’re looking to scale it significantly in 2026 and beyond. You’ll operate with P&L-level accountability and strategic autonomy in this channel. Reporting Structure: Reports to: CEO Collaborates with: Growth & Performance Marketer (paid media strategy), Ecom Ops, and the Creative Team CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Amazon Advertising & Performance (40% of role) Own Amazon Ads performance: Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, DSP Manage day-to-day campaign optimization with target of 4.0+ ROAS minimum, 4.5+ ROAS target Weekly performance reviews: analyze ACOS, TACoS, conversion rates, keyword performance Develop and test offer strategies (bundles, Subscribe & Save, coupons) to increase AOV Coordinate with Growth & Performance Marketer on cross‑channel learnings (what’s working on Meta/Google that should inform Amazon) Monthly spend planning: scale efficiently within budget guardrails Lead monthly strategic reviews with CEO on performance trends, testing roadmap, scale opportunities 2. Content & Conversion Optimization (25% of role) Own all Amazon content: product titles, bullet points, A+ Content, Brand Store, product images, videos. You’ll have access to the creative team and resources but are responsible for delivering and executing. Continuously optimize PDPs using Amazon’s conversion data Coordinate with Creative team on Amazon‑specific creative: lifestyle images, infographics, comparison charts, video content A/B test titles, images, bullets monthly using Amazon's tools or third‑party platforms Monitor and optimize for Amazon SEO: keyword rankings, search term performance Create content strategies for new product launches (3‑4 launches planned in 2026) Feed insights back to DTC team: what’s converting on Amazon should inform Shopify PDPs 3. Amazon Operations & Inventory Management (20% of role) Coordinate with operations on FBA inventory planning to avoid stockouts during peak seasons Manage FBA shipment creation, troubleshooting, and reconciliation Monitor inventory health: aging inventory, stranded inventory, storage limits Handle Amazon Seller Central operations: case management, account health, compliance Coordinate on inventory visibility across channels (Shopify vs Amazon stock) Plan inventory strategy for seasonal demand (Q4 is critical for cash flow) Quarterly business reviews with Amazon account rep (if Brand Registry) 4. Amazon Ecosystem Expansion (15% of role) Launch new products on Amazon: setup, content creation, advertising strategy Expand into Amazon programs: Vine reviews, Brand Registry benefits, Subscribe & Save optimization Explore Amazon Posts, Live, and emerging Amazon features Test expansion opportunities: international marketplaces, Amazon Business B2B Competitive analysis: monitor competitor pricing, content strategies, review management Build relationships with Amazon reps and vendor support 5.
