The role Microsoft Cybersecurity Analyst Hybrid Medellin/Bogotá Are you looking to develop your skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment? At SoftwareOne, you will be part of a specialized cybersecurity team where your work directly contributes to protecting our clients’ digital environments. You will work with Microsoft security technologies in a dynamic setting, with continuous learning, team support, and opportunities for professional growth. How a day to day would look like in this role: Provide specialized technical support in the administration and resolution of security incidents related to Microsoft Defender, Azure AD, and M365 Security. Monitor security alerts and events, executing corrective actions and escalating cases according to established procedures. Analyze incidents to identify root causes and recommend mitigation actions. Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and incident records to ensure traceability and operational continuity. Collaborate with the team to strengthen security best practices. What we need to see from you Profile: Technical, technologist, or professional background in Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields, with experience as a support analyst and basic knowledge of cybersecurity. Required skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure AD security. Initial experience with tools such as Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel. Ability to handle, analyze, and resolve security incidents. Strong documentation skills and ability to properly elevate cases. Willingness to learn and grow in the cybersecurity field.
