Purpose CCA Technology – Retail Digital Engineering team is currently looking for an automation tester to join and assist with manual and automation testing for online banking (web) and mobile banking apps (iOS, Android). Role Design, develop and maintain a modular, extensible and reusable test automation framework to enable continuous testing Partner with development engineers during story and task breakdown to develop test approaches that effectively cover all functional characteristics Perform manual testing to ensure functionality works as expected before moving to automating tests, and also run regression tests Build, maintain and improve the existing automation framework Create, maintain and enhance test data for manual and automation testing Become a subject matter expert on the usage of the entire application suite, processes, and workflows Drive the automated testing process Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams on quality testing Work with a mix of developers and other QA testers Assist with production verification of functionality during production implementation Must Have Automation testing 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience Planning, creating and executing end-to-end test plans with 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience Create/develop/execute automation tests using Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Appium with 3+ years of hands-on experience Mobile automation testing experience (iOS, Android) – 3+ years Developing test automation frameworks Basic understanding of databases and ability to work with database queries (Sybase) Well versed with Postman Nice To Have Prior Digital Banking or Financial Services experience Spanish is an asset Soft Skills Hit the ground running Strong communication skills (written & verbal) in English; ability to interact with Product, Design, Front-end and Back-end teams Education Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science Working Conditions Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours may be required Location: Bogota, Colombia ScotiaTech is a business unit within ScotiaGBS, a Scotiabank Group company located in Bogota, Colombia.
