AI Strategy and Delivery Lead – Zealand Pharma We are looking for an experienced AI strategist to lead the AI use case portfolio across clinical development and research. Your new position Reporting to the Senior Director, AI Strategy, you will own the business‑led AI use case portfolio from idea to value, including intake, prioritization, delivery, and hand‑over to operations. You will bridge business needs and technology, partner with the Data Analytics & AI Platform team, and work across the organization. Near‑term focus includes managing enterprise productivity tools while advancing clinical and research use cases, delivering measurable impact, strong adoption, and robust governance across the AI portfolio. Responsibilities Run the AI use case portfolio from intake and scoping to prioritization, execution, scaling, and hand‑over to operations. Lead project/program management for AI initiatives (plans, milestones, resources, budgets, vendor coordination, day‑to‑day execution). Provide hands‑on AI subject matter guidance: shape problem statements, assess feasibility and risks, recommend tools and guardrails. Drive change management and adoption through communications, role‑based training, workshops, and enablement of champion networks. Champion user experience, safety, and compliance (privacy, information security, responsible AI, quality). Network across Zealand Pharma and the external AI community; stay current on relevant AI news and releases, vendor roadmaps, and regulatory updates to surface new, high‑value use cases. Qualifications Master’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, data/analytics, or related field; ideally with biopharma experience. 3‑5+ years in product/program management for digital/AI/analytics initiatives, with a record of bridging business and technology and driving measurable outcomes. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; experienced leading cross‑functional teams and vendors. Demonstrated change‑management capability (communications, training, stakeholder engagement, business readiness) and benefits tracking/ROI storytelling at executive level. Working knowledge of AI concepts and workflows: machine learning (ML), large language models (LLMs), retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), agentic AI, Model Context Protocol (MCP), machine learning operations (MLOps) and LLM operations (LLMOps), and general cloud capabilities; Microsoft Azure experience is a plus. Technical literacy is essential (able to read designs, challenge trade‑offs, and engage engineers); hands‑on coding/configuration optional.
