WordPress Developer

Remote - Full Time

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the full stack development of WordPress websites, focusing on both front-end and back-end functionalities. You will collaborate with our design, content, and development teams to create seamless and optimized websites that meet client requirements and provide an excellent user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage both front-end and back-end components of WordPress websites.
• Customize and style WordPress themes and templates according to project specifications.
• Implement responsive and visually appealing designs, ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Create and modify custom plugins and themes to extend website functionality.
• Optimize website performance for fast load times, efficient code, and mobile responsiveness.
• Conduct regular updates, backups, and maintenance to ensure website security and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including performance and server-side errors.
• Maintain and improve code quality, performance, and adherence to web standards.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Familiarity with responsive and adaptive design principles, as well as frameworks like Bootstrap.
• Knowledge of database optimization, security practices, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.
• Strong attention to detail with an eye for visual consistency and design aesthetics.
• Ability to troubleshoot both front-end and back-end issues independently.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members across departments.

Good to Have:

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React or Vue) for enhanced front-end functionality.
• Familiarity with WooCommerce or other eCommerce plugins for WordPress.
• Understanding of web accessibility standards and UX/UI design principles.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed to enhance website capabilities.
• good knowledge of SCSS.
